Winter season opening conditions 2021-2022
01/12/2021
When are the ski slopes opening?
Although Grandvalira has already partially opened its slopes with the Pas de la Casa and Grau Roig sectors thanks to the last snowfalls (which have accumulated a thickness of between 30 and 90 centimeters of new snow), the official opening date of the rest of the domain will be next December 3, including Ordino-Arcalís. On the other hand, Vallnord Pal-Arinsal also kicks off the season this weekend.
What latest measures for the protection of COVID must be taken into account?
According to the latest restrictions approved by the Government of Andorra for the containment of COVID-19, it will be mandatory to present the COVID Certificate to access the ski resorts as well as their restaurants. These measures are applicable from December 1, 2021, and have an initial forecast of 2 weeks of application, although with the possibility of undergoing changes or extensions over time depending on the evolution of the pandemic.
What is the "COVID Certificate"?
Access controls will be carried out for those over 16 years of age with a COVID Certificate, a physical or digital document (QR) that certifies any of the following cases:
- Vaccination certificate. Having received the second dose more than 14 days ago, or having had the disease more than 6 months ago and having received a dose of the vaccine more than 14 days ago.
