Grandvalira Resorts has presented this week the news for the winter season 2021-2022, the result of an investment of 6.7 million euros and with the clear purpose of overcoming the pre-pandemic season. These novelties can be enjoyed in Grandvalira from December 3 to April 18, and, in the case of Ordino Arcalís, a station which can also be accessed with the Grandvalira ski pass, from November 27 to on April 24 as long as the weather conditions are favorable.
The bulk of the investment made has gone to the project of the new l'Abarset, which aims to become the leading après-ski in Europe, but also to the creation of new structures, the improvement of services for the practice of sports of winter, technological innovation, among others.
Outstanding news
- Dynamic prices. Grandvalira becomes the first ski area in the Iberian Peninsula to establish dynamic prices as a ski pass sales strategy, a formula already common in airlines or hotels. It consists of a fluctuation of the amount according to the time of year and the day of the week, thus encouraging the purchase through digital channels and with a better price than at the box office.
- Track improvements. . This season, the work carried out on the Camí de Pessons track stands out, which has gone from being a red track to a blue one thanks to the rehabilitation of the area; on the Cortalet piste, which makes it easier for beginners to ski. The Port track and the beginners' area of Riba Escorxada have also been improved.
- New circuits and mountain itineraries. This year the mountain ski circuits have been promoted, with two new itineraries, as well as the snowshoe circuits, with five new itineraries in different sectors. In addition, the Easy Way, Fun Way and Skimo Way circuits are also incorporated, three itineraries of different levels that cross the Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig and Encamp sectors.
- Augmented Reality. The Grandvalira app, a benchmark in the snow world with 90,000 active users, this year incorporates augmented reality, real-time positioning of the skier on the piste, and virtual challenges among all members of the Grandvalira community.

- Restoration. The Clicquot Bubble Experience promises an exclusive gourmet experience in which customers are picked up by an SUV at the foot of the slopes and taken to a remote area of the forest, where the Bubble is located, and they can enjoy a magnificent dinner. Another especially charming place is the Nomad Full Moon Bar, where you can enjoy all kinds of snacks at the same time as the full moon. On the other hand, the legendary Piolet Brasserie restaurant has this season with the collaboration of the prestigious chef Josep Maria Kao, who will also offer lacquered duck at the emblematic Vodka Bar and his “Kao Nights”.
- Unique accommodations. . Epic Andorra is characterized by combining outdoor activities with stays in unusual accommodations and gastronomic tastings with local products. This season, to guarantee an even more amazing experience, the Domo Lodge has added a new Jacuzzi.

The Top Class Room has been remodeled this year to satisfy all kinds of wishes of its clients, and the Top Class service also offers this year the SKIVID APP, a tool for correction and analysis of ski teaching.
