The Vila and Beixalis road, of 6.6 km in length and an average gradient of 8.4%, was prepared in mid-2015 by adapting and paving the old track on the occasion of the famous and most demanding major stage of “la Vuelta 2015” that took place in Andorra. In this way, the Andorrant got a new asphalt road to connect the parishes of Encamp and La Massana, as well as a route of great interest for cycling lovers.

Despite the opening, the road traffic is residual compared to other mountain passes of the Principality; it goes unnoticed and it does not disturb the tranquility to which the residents of Vila are used.

The two rivers that irrigate the lands on both sides of the village and its orientation to the east have favoured the development of the agricultural activity in the area. Vila has a fantastic landscape based on agricultural fields, which offer a changing chromatic variety throughout the year, which spreads out beyond them thanks to the forests and the natural environment that surrounds them.

• Church of Sant Romà de Vila: It is a Romanesque church with a simple floor and a belfry of the thirteenth century. Inside the church there is the only sample of Romanesque painting on wood that exists in Andorra, a reproduction of the Romanesque altar front that entered in 1922 in the National Museum of Art of Catalonia, in Barcelona. It also has an altarpiece of the twentieth century which represents the life of Sant Romà de Vila and other saints.
• The Vila and Beixalís Road connects the parishes of Encamp and La Massana through a mountain pass, passing through the villages of Vila d'Encamp and the Anyós - L'Aldosa de La Massana junction. With gradients of up to 17%, this road is ideal both for road cycling practitioners and for an entertaining mountain day. It was also refurbished in 2015 with new pavement and road safety elements for the realization of one of the last stages of “La Vuelta” in the Andorran territory.
• Padern Summit: the residents of Vila, as in most of the villages of the Principality, have their private route to one of the summits of Andorra, the Padern Summit, as well as other routes to enjoy hiking and mountain excursions of different degrees of difficulty.
• One of the quietest and most beautiful walks in the area is the one between Vila and Encamp. A relaxed cultural walk full of curiosities to enjoy, such as: the “Moles del Prat Gran”, the Analemático solar clock, the National Museum of the Automobile, the Museum of Sacred Art or the Dallaire sculpture, among other surprises.
